It can be mentioned that the GDP growth in the last year that is in 2014 was the highest, and it was USD 23.83 billion. The gradual growth of GDP might be the result of the flourishing of garments sector, regular flow of foreign remittance and tangible increase in agricultural production. It is suggestive of the country s stable financial condition.

Ans: As per the graph a survey was carried out on the literacy rate in Bangladesh covering the period of 1972-2012. The survey shows that the literacy rate in 1972 was 48%, which in 1982 that is after 10 years rose up to 51%. This increasing trend continued for the next two decades and in 1992 it stood at 60%. The year 2002 shows its rate to be nearly 65%.

The literacy rate of Bangladesh in different subject Graph Chart

It shows a positive sign for the country. But in 2007, the trend altogether changed and it declined a bit. Then the rate stood at 60%. However, it was not desirable at all. After that we notice a sharp improvement in this sector. In 2012, the literacy rate shows itself to be 72%. It is of course a positive trend.

If this trend goes on, we can hope that Bangladesh will soon get rid of the curse of illiteracy and the nation will be able to enjoy the benefits of education. This increasing trend might be the result of the campaign against illiteracy adopted by the Govt of Bangladesh.
