Ans. The graph shows the number of internet users from 2005 to 2012. There is an increasing trend in the internet users with the passage of time. In 2005, only 1.5 lakh people used internet, within one year it doubled to 3 lakh in 2006. From 2006 to 2012, there was a steady increase in the number of Internet users. 
In 2007, the internet users were 3.5 lakh. an addition of 0.5 lakh to the number of previous year. Another 0.75 users were added and it became 4.25 lakh in 2008. Then, there was an increase of 1.25 lakh in two years of time taking the internet users to 5.5 lakh in 2010. The same increasing trend continued with another addition of 0.5 lakh to the total making it 6.0 lakh in 2011.

With a smooth increase, we had 6.5 lakh internet users in 2012. So, we see that the number of internet user grew steadily from 2005 to 2012. In 2005, there were only 1.5 lakh users, but in 2012 it became 6.5 lakh, an increase of 5 lakh in a period of 7 years. The graph reflects that the number of internet users is increasing rapidly with the passage of time.

The graph below shows the percentage of the number of Internet users in towns and villages


Ans. The graph shows the percentage of the number of internet users in towns and villages from 2010 to 2014. It is seen that in 2010 the percentage is only 10 in towns and 3 in villages that indicates some people of towns used internet while the number is few in villages. The next two years internet users in towns increased by a successive rate that is 5%. 
Whereas the rate increased very slowly in villages. In 2013 there has been a remarkable increase of 7% regarding the urban users and the number reached to 27%. But the growth rate was almost same in the rural areas. The number suddenly jumped to 40% in town and 15% in village in the year 2014. This year 13% urban and 5% rural users were added to the number of 2013.

After a close analysis it can be said that the people of villages are logging behind regarding internet use. Whereas the urban people are engaging themselves with the modern world very fast.
