The pie chart below shows the passing rate of different subjects in class eight in the first terminal exam of 2013 in Saint Martin High School.

Ans. The pie chart shows the interest of the students of a secondary school in different subjects. The subjects include Mathematics, Science, Bangla and English. The pie chart points out that Mathematics is the subject of the highest interest of the students and it is 35%. The second highest subject of interest is Science and its percentage is only 27. 

Only 21% is the interest of the students in Bengali and it is the third highest in terms of interest rate. Their lowest interest is shown in English and it is only 17%. The pie chart makes it clear that students find more interest in Mathematics. But their interest is really negligible in English. In Bangla and Science they are interested but there is scope for improving their interest.

It points out that the highest number of students passed in Bangla and it was 77%. The second highest was in English and 55% students passed in that subject. Only 42% students passed in Science and it was the third highest in terms of passing rate. 

The lowest number of students passed in Mathematics and it was only 38%. The pie chart makes it clear that the students of class eight of Saint Martin High School were very much week in Mathematics and Science. Almost half of them failed in English. So, they were also weak in English. In Bangla, they were much stronger than other subjects although there was scope for improvement.
